TURNKEY MANUFACTURING
Although a majority of Target Corporation's products are still
delivered to the defense industry, our quality, workmanship and
manufacturing flexibility has encouraged numerous high-tech, high
quality, low volume non-defense customers to employ our assembling
and testing capabilities. These customers and their products range
from Hamilton Sundstrand's aircraft motors, OCENCO's underground
mining power supplies, Litton Life Support's oxigenator cables,
Rauland-Borg's UL approved nursing station equipment, Dell Computer's
test console boards, US Robotics' modem test boards and ADB-ALANCO's
runway lighting systems, to name a few.
The services we provide are of two types. One the one hand,
customers have drop- shipped kits for assembly and test at Target
Corporation. This is predicated on an approved property system
(as demonstrated by the UL labeling authority and DCMC-D written
approval) and our strict property control. Or on the other hand,
we have the capability of purchasing parts off a customer's Bill
of Materials, placing purchase orders, receiving and inspecting
the parts for assembly and testing, if required. In short, Target
Corporation provides a fully integrated turnkey manufacturing
facility.
