FEATURES
Target Corporation's Transfer Switches are used in conjunction with dual interrogator systems. Video and control signals from each interrogator, as well as the antenna lines, are controlled by the transfer switch. The air traffic controller, at the radar site, is now able to select which of the two interrogators are to serve as the on-line channel.
The Transfer Switch contains relays which are used to switch the interrogator signals and a time delay circuit is used for switching the antenna lines. The Transfer Switch can be used either for local or remote interrogator switching.
The CTS-2 switches the SIF Video signals, the EXT P1, P3 signal, the interrogator control signals, the Challenge Status Indicator and primary power.
The CTS-3 switches the Mode 4 Video and control signals in addition to switching the CTS-2 signals.
All of the components of the Transfer Switches are mounted on the front and rear panels to allow for convenient servicing.
